The New Democratic Party (NDP) of Canada is promoting a movement for justice and jobs in a green and democratic Canada and all of its provinces and territories. This is a mid-left political party with liberal values and a sense of justice and prosperity. In this era of economic and environmental change, Canada needs a firm and ethical leadership that will help Canadians to maintain and increase their level of economy and health. Support the NDP and help us support the True North, Strong and Free! Please visit www.ndp.ca to learn more about the NDP. - - - All Canadians are welcome to join! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The Reform/Canadian Alliance/Conservative Party can't even decide on a proper name. Do you really want a group of conservative rednecks in charge of Canada's hospitals and the Canadian people? The only truly "democratic" parties in Canada are the Liberals or the NDP. No one in their right mind should ever vote for the Conservatives (Brain Mulroney's party). Chretien has done a good job of leading Canada. (J'adore Chretien!) But Paul Martin is corrupt and is leading Liberals towards more corruption. The NDP is looking very good under their leader Jack Layton. People get excited when they meet Jack Layton because he truly is a great leader with good ideas and a man of the people. He is like a new version of Trudeau. Jack Layton is Canada's best choice (my opinion) for a new prime minister. Maybe we should rename this ring "Layton-Mania". - A message from Ringmistress Suzy.

Stephen Harper Vs Kyoto and the Environment
In 2002 Stephen Harper wrote a letter which called the Kyoto Accord a 'socialist scheme'. He used fuzzy logic to justify why Canada should not ratify Kyoto and confused pollutants with green house gases because apparently he doesn't know the difference.

     Poverty in Canada
If Canada's poor weren't so conveniently invisible, maybe we'd come to our moral senses and devise a national strategy for eliminating poverty.

Looking back at Canada in 2006. Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan drinking Tim Hortons and getting killed (36 in 2006). Stephen Harper shook hands with a terrorist warlord by accident in March 2006. The Canadian Dollar climbs almost to par and more.

The warlord and his men were behind a suicide blast that injured three Canadian soldiers and killed Canadian diplomat Glyn Berry, the 59-year-old political director of the local reconstruction team.

     The Reform Party is Gone
The Reform Party of Canada is gone and its been replaced by a penny-pinching Conservative Party that can't even win a majority government and is losing in the polls to the Liberals. Whatever happened to Reform Party? Stephen Harper betrayed them.
